2D/1N Mount Kinabalu Climbing

ITINERARY
DAY 1Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Kinabalu Park Headquarters (HQ), the journey will take approximately 2 hours. On arrival, meet the mountain guide and proceed to the trail and it's from here the ascent to the rest house begins. The trek will pass by different vegetation zones from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine type of vegetations. Dinner & Overnight at mountain hut. (Inclusive: Packed Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 2
Early morning ascent to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4095.26m) above sea level. Upon reaching the summit (Low's Peak) an opportunity to take photographs on the highest point in South East Asia. In a clear weather, a spectacular sunrise awaits weary climbers. Retrace route back to Timpohon gate where transport will take you to the Kinabalu Park HQ to collect your achievement certificate. After lunch, transfer to hotel at Kota Kinabalu City.

Things you should bring:
Suitable walking shoes / warm clothing / wind breaker / long sleeves shirts / change of clothes / drinking water / high energy food (chocolates, nuts, raisins, glucose) Headache tablets / sun block / camera / water proof bag for camera / torchlight / extra socks / towel / gloves / toilet roll
Special Note:
It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommend that you should refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice); or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
Package Included : Return hotel transfer (Seat in coach), Sabah Park entrance fee, Climbing permit, Climbing Insurance (Only Cover on PHYSICAL wound NOT ALTITUDE SICKNESS) Certificate (Success to reach Laban Rata - Non Color certificate and reach to the peak with colorful certificate), Mountain guide (Not naturalist nor speaking English guide) Meal as listed (05 Meals).
Package Excluded : Porter Fee RM8/Kg, Transfer to Hot’s Spring RM85/PP/Way, RM40/pax pick up outside city area hotel, All not written or stated out in the Itinerary
NOTICE
- INSURANCE : Since the insurance only cover on physical wound, The guest that need to be carry down because of Altitude sickness and not physical would will be charge RM250/KM/ Per person immediately.
- LOCAL MOUNTAIN GUIDE : Mountain guide is just a person who concern your safety and reach to the destination safely
- TRANSPORTATION : On 2nd day climb, as average time guest come down from the mountain from between 1300-1430hrs Afternoon, our transport waiting time until 1600hrs only (All customer on the same day are compulsory to wait the other team, unless you have PAID FOR PRIVATE TRANSFER ADD ON RM200/ CAR) after that time our transport will be leaving the park and guest are compulsory to arrange their own transportation back to Kota Kinabalu. (Remember after 1800hrs EXTRA CHARGES/ NIGHT CHARGES will be apply immediately - Charges are depends on negotiation with the transport owner)LUNCH : Lunch time stop at 1600hrs on 2nd Day - if guest MISS the lunch time, any meals request will be on personal expenses.
- WEATHER : Natural disaster are beyond our control, any cancellation or CAN’T GO TO SUMMIT because weather not permitted, Refund request will NOT be entertained.(Please think & get final choice before book the tours).
- REFUND : Once tour booked and paid, any refund request from the guest on whatsoever reason will not be entertained.
Kinabalu Park Headquarters = 15 - 20’C, Laban Rata Area = 10 - 15’C, Summit = 05 - 10’C.
